We keep this short because we keep very little.
What we collect
When you join the pre-launch list or unlock a free download, we ask for your email address, your first name, and whether you are a parent, grandparent, teacher, or grown-up reader. We also note which page you signed up on (for example the quiz or the coloring pages), and, if you took the quiz, which character your reader matched.
Why we collect it
We use it to email you about the launch of The Truth Seekers, to send the free printables you asked for, and to share occasional news about the book and the series. That's it.
Where it is stored
Your details are stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, the email tool we use to send our messages. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Unsubscribe anytime
Every email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also reply to any of our emails and ask us to remove you, and we will.
A note about kids (COPPA)
The pre-launch list is for grown-ups. We ask parents, grandparents, and teachers to sign up with their own email address, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The games, quiz, and puzzles on this site work without signing up. Quiz answers, treasure hunt progress, and puzzle progress stay in your browser on your own device and are never sent to us.
If you believe a child has signed up, contact us by replying to any of our emails and we will delete the information.
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising cookies. The site saves small notes in your browser (like which treasure hunt letters you've found, or that you've already unlocked the downloads) so your progress is there when you come back. You can clear these at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
